Rush County IN - Forsythe Mill Covered Bridge
4721 W 650 S
Rushville, IN 46173

To get to this bridge from Moscow we simply needed to head up river.  We went due north from Moscow on S650W until we reached Gowdy where we turned east on W650S.  I sure don't understand the signage but it is what it is.  None of the roads are really that great in this area they are paved but very rough and crowned.  We came upon Forsythe Mill and pulled over on the east side.  It is still a working bridge as most of the Kennedy bridges are, and is most distinguished by its stone steps on the corners of the abutments.  This one was also built by E.L. two years after the Moscow Bridge in 1888.  It is a 196' Burr Arch Truss also spanning the Big Flatrock River in Rush County.
