Day Twelve – Emporia KS to Home

We started with breakfast at Huddle House near the hotel and we set out on US50. We would try to stay off the interstate as mush as possible. We stayed well south of KC taking many back roads as we wove our way to Jefferson City and lunch at Prison Blues. We got there right as they were opening and the kitchen was not yet going so we just had a quick pint and we were on our way. After Jefferson City we jumped on the interstate and made a bee line home. We stopped at a rest stop on I-70 but that was just about it for the rest of the day.
