Brown County OH - New Hope Iron Bridge
A short drive down CR5b had us in New Hope and looking for the New Hope Covered bridge. We weren't exactly certain where the bridge was located as we rode into 'town'. Right there off of Main St we spotted an old iron bridge. This wasn't it but it met our criteria to include it. It was built sometime in the 1800s but the plate at the top of bridge was partially destroyed and we could not see the exact date. Because the bridge was in such bad repair we could tell that it had a wooden deck that had been covered at some point with blacktop.
