Montgomery County OH - Germantown Covered Bridge

308-498 Center St
Germantown, OH 45327

The Germantown bridge is reputed to be the only existing bridge of its type in the world.  It used to span Little Twin Creek on the Dayton Pike, it moved to its present location way back in 1963.  Germantown is worth a visit with all of its little shops and quaint downtown.  It is only a few short miles away from Mud Lick bridge.  Its construction is unique.  Its the only one we've seen without covered sides.  It no longer serves traffic; only pedestrians.
