Rush County IN - Norris Ford Covered Bridge
1863 E 300 N
Rushville, IN 46173

Since we at Smith CB we decided to take the quick trip north to Norris Ford CB. If we were a crow it would have only been a 1.5 mile flight, but because we were on bikes it was little 2.5 miles. Norris Ford was built several decades after Smith in 1916 by E.L. Kennedy’s son. Like its sister to the South it is a covered burr arch type and spans 148’ over the Flatrock River. This bridge is also open to traffic and seems on good condition. Not a whole lot of good riding in this area as it is very flat and wide open.
