We felt the need to go back to Maine and to cut back the trip from 14 days back to something a little less taxing. The 14 day trip last year was not only epic but also very tiring given our typical pace. We haven't yet gotten to the point where we can back it down some. Its full bore every day, and this why we decided to cut back to 8 days. We also were attempting to ride more 2-3 day trips we did accomplish. We have ridden in Maine many times so we were really trying to find some new roads and areas to ride in which I believe we did a pretty good job of. We did eat a lot of Lobster but it was certainly more expensive than our last trip, but then everything is given the inflation we have.
