For part 2 of our crazy 2020 vacation ride we decided to ride to the Southeast, but since we had seven days we were going to hit some roads we hadn't been on in some time and generally take the time we don't normally spend in the area. Typically we blast down for 2 or 3 days, ride like crazy and come back. We had made this a formal summer route since 2002. We had some conflicts with scheduling so we didn't get going until September 30th and it was actually quite chilly at times, hence the title of the trip. I broke out my old winter jacket which I normally only wear in the winter months when we get out for a day. I also rode my RT while Steve stayed with his Grand America. I don't think we covered many new roads but again it was nice riding some roads we hadn't been on for a while and we took our time more than normal.
